The Competition Protection Agency (CPA) investigates alleged restrictive agreements and alleged abuses of a dominant position. Procedures for the assessment of restrictive practices are initiated exclusively ex officio by means of a decision initiating proceedings, where the CPA becomes aware of circumstances giving rise to a likelihood of an infringement. Proceedings before the CPA shall be terminated by a decision finding that an infringement has been committed or by a decision closing the proceedings.
For more information on restrictive practices, see "RESTRICTIVE AGREEMENTS" and “ABUSE OF DOMINANT POSITION”.
